Robot Discussion Forum
In a recent press release by United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, Robot orders in the first half of fiscal 2003 were up 26% to the highest sales level ever recorded. Robot sales growth is predicted to increase into 2005 and beyond. The report indicated that increase in robot sales is due to plummeting prices in the price of robots and robotics components. Strong growth in sales of domestic or service robots was seen with additional growth continuing into the future. The most notable household service robot models that saw growth were vacuum cleaning and lawn-mowing robots, entertainment robots, and hobby robots.
